The biggest advantage is that this exit emergency lighting has SELF-DIAGNOSTIC function, details as below:

As soon as AC power is supplied to emergency exit sign light ,the unit will automatically initiate a self-diagnostic test.

Verifies battery failure (disconnection,shorted,voltage drops below than acceptable value), charger board failure, lamps failure and transformer failure at every 5 seconds.Manufacturer  pre-sets all functions-Do not need field adjustment.

*Built-in NI-MH rechargeable battery provides at least 3hours backup power in the event of a power outage, 4.8V 600MAH, 24 hours charging time with battery overcharge and discharge protection
